COOLING/HEATING TIME
MiPods have very powerful built-in heat pumps designed specifically for fast chilling (and heating in some models) modern ice baths. The electronic control of the advanced refrigerant gas makes them uniquely capable of the most effective chilling of any size tub. The time taken for each circumstance is extremely difficult to quantify because of the many variables: the amount of water; the surrounding room temperature; how good is the ventilation around the chiller; the initial pool temperature; the set temperature…
These things are all matter of simple physics. If the room is very hot, the machine has to work a lot harder to overcome the extra heat. The larger the amount of water being chilled, naturally the longer it will take to do so.
Our units are however the fastest and the most powerful units available anywhere and have been designed to be able to run 24h/7. Simply set the temperature, press START, and leave the unit ALWAYS ON so you can immerse yourself in your ice bath ANYTIME you want.
POOL CONNECTIONS
No pool connections, plumbing or external installations are required with this tub.
VOLTAGE
Mipods can only be connected to the voltage marked on the machine: 220V
They are NOT multi-voltage and using a different voltage may cause server damage.
The power input socket on the side of your Compact must be connected to standard AC power capable of providing at least 15 Amps in countries with a 220v supply. All AC power connection used must have an earth connection that complies with your local electrical safety regulations.
WATER SUPPLY
A permanent water connection is not required. Simply fill your pool with a hose and remove hose once pool is filled up. To empty the MiPod, turn off machine, open the drain valve and let water out. To drain water further away from the pool, simply connect any type of hose to the drain valve, open valve, and water will flow through the hose down to the hose exit.
MAINTENANCE
To maintain the water quality of your pool, we recommend checking sanitisation levels daily. You can also add a block of chlorine or regular salts from time to time. Depending on the use, water will need to be replaced weekly or every second week.
